Where you submit a request for review access or write through the contact page, we collect the details you provide: name, professional title, institution, department, country, email address, institutional website, area of expertise, and the content of your message.

Where review access is granted, we record access events associated with your invitation: dates of first and last access, number of completed reading sessions, and technical session information. These records exist for security and rights-protection purposes.
4. Purpose of processing
Data is processed to assess access requests, to issue and administer invitations, to protect the rights in the work, to respond to correspondence, and to maintain the integrity of the review programme.
5. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent, given when submitting a request or accepting an invitation, and on the legitimate interest of the rights holder in protecting a confidential unpublished work.
6. Disclosure
Data is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes. It is not published. Disclosure occurs only where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights in the work.
7. Retention
Request records, invitation records, and access logs are retained for as long as necessary to administer the programme and to protect the rights in the work, and are then deleted or anonymised.
8. Security
Data is held in access-controlled storage. The book file itself is held in private storage and is never exposed through a public address. Administrative access is restricted to authorised administrators.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent. Where deletion would prevent the administration or enforcement of an active review invitation, access may be revoked instead.
