Work and orientation
Todor Kulakov writes on economic policy with a focus on the productive role of public institutions. THE PRODUCTIVE STATE is the outcome of an extended programme of study on how states account for their assets, how public and private capital interact, and why comparable economies diverge over decades.
His approach is deliberately institutional rather than ideological. The book proceeds from accounting and measurement to governance instruments, and asks in each case what a state can verify, what it can plan, and what it can be held accountable for.
The author has directed that all proceeds from the book support the FROSINA Foundation. He receives no personal income from its distribution.
